"First, the District needs to establish policies to ensure a smooth transition from City of Fort Collins operations. Next, the District needs to identify budgetary resources to provide current operating expenses, to have operating reserves for the new southeast branch and to deal with the District's future capital investment needs. The voters have authorized a 3.0 property tax mill levy. With this tax revenue and other identified resources, it will be the goal of the District's trustees to meet the current and future needs of our patrons who fund the District."
(Term expires 3/2008)
