Library District News2007 FORT COLLINS REGIONAL LIBRARY DISTRICT ANNUAL REPORTThe Board of Trustees and Staff of your Library District have made great headway in fulfilling the promises made in the successful Library District election. We are proud to share our achievements with the 2007 Annual Report. 5/2/2008 FORT COLLINS REGIONAL LIBRARY DISTRICT, CITY AND COUNTY APPROVE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT 
Tuesday night the Fort Collins City Council and the Fort Collins Regional Library District entered into an intergovernmental agreement designed to finalize the public library's transition from city library to library district. The agreement was also unanimously approved by the Larimer County Commissioners Tuesday afternoon. 12/6/2007 NEW LIBRARY DISTRICT NAMES FINANCE OFFICER The Fort Collins Regional Library District today announced that it has appointed Jeffrey Barnes as the officer who will oversee financial management of the new district. 8/24/2007 PLANS, CONSTRUCTION ADVANCE ON NEW SOUTHEAST LIBRARY BRANCH Plans for a new public library branch in southeast Fort Collins are taking shape as construction advances on Front Range Village, the shopping center where the library will be located. 8/21/2007 SOUTHEAST BRANCH LIBRARY FACT SHEET The Southeast Branch Library is scheduled to open in late 2008 and will operate as part of the Fort Collins Regional Library District. The branch will emphasize the most popular materials and services the library district offers. 8/21/2007 LIBRARY DISTRICT TO RESTORE POSITIONS, ADD KEY EMPLOYEES The new Fort Collins Regional Library District is working to restore positions that had been lost due to city budget constraints, as well as to redefine key positions that will meet the needs of a larger, independent district. 8/16/2007 NEW LIBRARY DISTRICT STANDS ON STRONG FOUNDATION, LOOKS TO THE FUTURE With an experienced group of community leaders at the helm and many library services restored, the new Fort Collins Regional Library District will look toward hiring staff and finalizing an agreement with the City of Fort Collins. 8/16/2007 |
