Within any browse screen or bibliographic record, you have the option to change your search. Click on the small, black down arrows on the drop down menus to:
- Change the type, collection, or start a completely New Search.
- Revisit an earlier search through the Search History.
Starting a New Search Within the Catalog Record
To change or start a new search:
- Use the drop down menus to change the type of search. In the example below we selected "keyword" to initiate a Keyword search rather than a Subject search.
- Type in garden** to change the search to gardening from baseball.
- You could then use the other drop down menu to select a specific collection to search in such as Harmony Library (not shown).
- Click the search button to start the new search.
Search History
Search History lists all of the previous searches that you have
done. Click on the black arrow on the drop down menu to the right of the the "Search History" box and select a previous search with just a click.
